RE: Approval to connect Watson Farm—Senior Housing
Dear Mr.DeMallie:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority,at its regular meeting of November 8,2000,gave
approval for the connection to the Town's sewerage system of a residential,elderly housing apartment
complex located on Deming Street,as more specifically shown on plans entitled"Watson Farm Site
Development Plan"prepared by Design Professionals,Project No. 1270,Drawing No(s). 1270/1270-04
dated 11-3-2000 with no revisions,and subject to the following conditions:
1. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
2. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be given once
the sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff,and based upon the written
verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed in substantial conformance
with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,and meeting all Town regulations and
appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
3. Conditional approval was given and final approval will be granted when a revised plan is
presented to the WPCA showing pipe slopes,pipe sizes,relocation of main line,a clean out and
lateral for the community center and a sewer profile based on an area covering
8.7 acres.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
