Dear Mr.Hastings:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of March 1, 2005, gave
approval to .withdraw the previous approval that was issued on December 7, 2004, for the above
referenced project, and approve the new application for connection to the Town's sewerage system of a
commercial building at 12 and 30 Commerce Way, South Windsor, CT as more specifically shown on
Plans entitled "Topographic Map and Conservation Plan' prepared by Alford Associates, Inc., Windsor,
CT, Drawing No. 3/6, Dated 10-05-04, with revision dated 11-11-04, 11-22-04, 11-30-043 12-03-04, 12-
10-04., 1-25-05,and subject to the stipulations in the original approval.
l. Monthly monitoring for one year to determine the amount of suspended solids and BOD's
entering the system,after which time a decision will be made regarding continued monitoring.
2. Connection charges for 3.125 acres in the amount of $9,384.38 be paid at the time permit is
issued.
3. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
4. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be given once
the sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff,and based upon the written
verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line.was installed in substantial
conformance with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,and meeting all Town
regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to sanitary sewer construction.
This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
