Dear Mr. Richards:
The South Windsor Water Pollution Control Authority, at its regular meeting of July 14, 1998,
gave approval for the connection to the Town's sewerage system of a commercial building at
Clark Street, as more specifically shown on plans entitled "United States Post Office - South
Windsor MSBD - South Windsor, Connecticut 06074-9998" prepared by AN Consulting
Engineers, Newington, CT; The Mead Group PC, West Hartford, CT; and Ferrero Hixon
Associates LLC, Simsbury, CT; USPS File No. B32300; Drawings C4.01- Site Drainage and
Utilities, C7.01 - Off-Site Water and Sewer Utilities, and C8.01 - Off-Site Water and Sewer
Details, all dated January 26, 1998, no revisions; and subject to the following conditions:
1. Technical approval of the Town Engineering Department.
2. Final Authority approval and acceptance of the sanitary sewerage connection will be
given once the sewer line has been installed and inspected by the Town staff, and based
upon the written verification of the Town staff that said sanitary sewer line was installed
in substantial conformance with the design plans previously approved by the Authority,
and meeting all Town regulations and appropriate technical specifications relating to
sanitary sewer construction.
3. Connection shall be made at a manhole located at the northern terminus of the sewer line
in Clark Street.
4. As-built drawings, properly defining the location of the sewer line from the existing
manhole to the Post Office property, shall be provided to the Town.
5. An easement, in a form acceptable to the Town Attorney, shall be provided across
private property at the southerly side of the Post Office property.

6. This approval letter must be superimposed on the final approval plans.
