We have always believed that the house that you are currently living in is an old, poorly constructed home that is in disrepair. In our opinion, you have done your best to make that a livable home. Trying to add more money and effort to upgrade it will not add any value because structurally, it is in such poor condition. We understand that you seek a variance from the Town Zoning Board for the new house. This variance would situate the house on the property to accommodate an approximate 1100 square foot footprint. We are in full support of this variance. The plan for your new home sounds wonderful. This structure will blend very nicely with other homes in the neighborhood. Good luck! Very truly yours, %' y <) 1hn1772 and Mary Habif Main Street May 3, 1998 To Members of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals: We, the undersigned, are writing this letter in support of the application which Mr. &Mrs. Peter Jennings have before you. We understand that they are requesting a variance which would allow them to build a new home at 1764 Main Street. As bordering neighbors, we have no objections to the variances which they are seeking in order to appropriately situate their new house on the property. As adjacent property owners, we would welcome the improvements that Mr. &Mrs. Jennings are proposing. Sincerely yours, e Robert &Barbara Accorsi 1752 Main Street Anastasia Dondero 1764 Main Street April 15, 1998 Michael J. Cole 1766 Main St. East Windsor Hill, CT. 06028 To Whom It May Concern: My Property located at 1766 Main St., East Windsor Hill is on the East side of the Jenning's property. I have no objection to their new home coming within twenty feet of my property line. I feel thg this is an good use of the property and will be an improvement over the existing structure. The Jennings are good neighbors and have a great respect for the Historical area they live in. Sincerely, Michael J. Box 127 South Windsor, CT 06074 Re: Appl. #2398-98—Peter& Alison Jennings, 1764 Main Street, A-40 Zone. Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jennings: At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on May 7, 1998, the Board approved your request for a variance to Section 10.2 to allow a 27' front yard variance, and a 6' rear yard variance, for construction of a new dwelling on an existing non-conforming lot, on property located at 1764 Main Street, A-40 Zone. The Board concluded the hardships on the property to be as follows: 1. The property pre-dates zoning regulations. 2. The property is an interior lot with a short front to back distance and has a driveway along the side of the property. Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, require a building permit prior to start of construction.
