RE: Appl. #2339-97 - Paul Bianca, Bianca Signs Incorporated, 99 Newington Avenue,
New Britain, request for a variance to Section 5.1.3 to allow a sign to be larger
than permitted, (4' x 10'), on property located at 655 John Fitch Blvd., GC Zone.
Dear Mr. Bianca:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on February 6, 1997, the board
approved your request for a variance to Section 5.1.3 to allow a sign to be larger than permitted, (4'
x 10% on property located at 655 John Fitch Boulevard, GC Zone.
The Board concluded the hardship on this application to be that due to the rate of speed on a 4 lane
highway with a divider in between the lanes, a 12' sign would not be able to be seen.
Any new building, or alterations/additions to existing buildings, require a building permit prior to
start of construction.
These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your
own expense.
Very truly yours,
/ f
