The Board noted the hardship as, since there has been vandalism during the evening hours, it was felt by the Police Department that having a larger sign with the hours posted would make it easier to enforce the hours of operation. This action is effective August 3, 1995 and upon your filing of the enclosed forms in the Town Clerk's office at your own expense. At a recent Commission meeting the consensus of the Commission was that the immediate need is for a sign stating the hours to prevent misuse of the area after dark. Our requirements are as follows: Bright color for visibility Sturdy - vandal proof If you have any questions, please give me a call . Thanks . At the present time, the hours are posted on a piece of paper on the property which is not clearly visible to all visitors. In order for us to enforce the hours of operation, those hours need to be clearly visible. In addition, during discussion with the caretaker of the property would you please ask him to cut back the bushes along the west shoulder of Niederwerfer Road, north of the driveway. Drivers attempting to exit the Wildlife Sanctuary are not able to clearly see .southbound traffic as their view is blocked by the overgrown foliage. Thank you for your assistance. f Sgt.
