Dear Constance:
Re: Proposed Police/Ambulance Facility - Sand Hill Road
As you are well aware, the Public Building Commission has authorized
Lawrence Associates to develop a conceptual plan for a combined
police and ambulance facility on Sand Hill Road.
Accordingly, I am herewith referring the preliminary plan to your
Agency for a report, which we request you return to us as soon as
practicable.
Subject to a successful referendum, the Town will be applying to
your Agency for formal approval, after November 1982.
Moreover, I request a place on the agenda of your July 12th meeting,
at which time Lawrence Associates (Architects/Planners) and TMR Asso-
ciates (Engineers/Landscape Architects) would make a preliminary pre-
sentation.
The Public Building Commission appreciates your cooperation in this
matter.
Sincerely,
TOWN OF SOUTH WINDSOR

Dear Ms. Eriksson:
It is our understanding that the original permit granted for work on
the referenced project by the Inland Wetlands Commission will expire
on February 14, 1984. Please be advised that the construction pro-
gress is such that the completion of the work covered by this permit
wi3l not be completed by the Permit' s expiration date.
On-behalf of the South Windsor Public Building Commission, this office
requests an extension of time to complete the work. We believe that an
extension of six months will be adequate to complete the work.
Very truly yours,

Dear Mr. Fitts:
The Inland Wetlands Agency has reviewed your preliminary plans
and it appears to have no detrimental impact on the water course.
However, the final plans and an application will need to be sub-
mitted to the Agency for review before an approval can be considered.
