Kaye 301 Hartford Avenue Newington, Connecticut 061ll RE: ALLIED PLYWOOD,CORP. AND SAVIN BROS. , INC. APPLICATIONS NO. 194 & No. 195. Dear Mr. Kaye: After discussing your Applications NO. 194 and NO. 195 several areas of concern need to be resolved. 1. The location, size and length of the existing berm. 2. Drainage should be assessed for this specific site, particularly as it pertains to possible flooding of abutting property owners. 3. According to resident comments, it appears the ditch may be partially filled in. 4. The Agency is faced with a dilemma regarding the berm: the berm appears to be needed for visual protection, yet it may impede the flow of water with resultant flooding of property owners. I suggest you discuss these problems with the Town Engineering Department. Upon notification by you, you will be placed on the next available agenda.
