Eriksson: Ther61 is a proposal pending before the Conservation Commission for this site. The plans as presented are generally acceptable, if the erdsion and sediment control measures are implemented as shown. It has been indicated to me on a couple of occasions that there is anticipated to be 20 ,000 cubic yards of waste dirt , if the site is developed as shown. I am opposed to an approval of this plan for the following reasons : 1. It is a housing development on a site with a gentle slope. It is not a make dirt project . There is no proposal included with the plans to cover this situation. 2 . The last two projects done by this developer produced between 35 , 000 and 50 , 000 cubic yards of waste dirt which has caused a great deal of unpleasantness and strain on all those involved. To approve another proposal with memories of these other two still fresh in our mind would be unkind . Until the plans have been modified to eliminate this waste dirt problem or a proper application under Sections 9 and 10 of the Zoning Regulations which cover excavation and landfilling has been approved, I do not feel the plans are acceptable.
