Mr. John M. Moran Jr.
IWA/CC
Town of So. Windsor
1540 Sullivan Ave.
So. Windsor, Ct. 06074
Dear Mr. Moran:
In response to your letter of April 28, 1988 regarding Lot #1.
Strong Road, I am sending you copies of the following items:
1) Army Corps of Engineers Permit
2) Minutes of the Sept. 29, 1986 IWA/CC meeting
3) Plot plan and Conservation plan for Lot #1
The plot plan has been marked, by me, with red -pencil to show
the approximate location of the delineation between upland and
wetland as determined in the field by the Army Corps of
Engineers. This line was established by both vegetative sampling
and soil testing. I have also highlighted the driveway, sewer
and waterlines, all of which are located in non-wetland areas.
On Thursday May 5 I met with Bo Davies, as the foundation was
being backfilled and rough graded. At this meeting I showed him
where the Army Corps had set the wetlands line and we reviewed
the conservation plan. There has not been any erosion at the
site and to ensure no future problems, we have replaced the
erosion control fence and seeded the disturbed areas in and
around the wetlands.
To the best of my knowledge I am and have been in compliance
with the Army Corps of Engineers permit, the guidelines set
forth at the Sept. 29, 1986 IWA/CC meeting, the subdivision
approval, the building permit and the conservation plan for
Lot #1. I will gladly meet with you personally or with the
commission at your convenience to review my activities.
Sincerely yours
William Aman
