The plan indicates, no inland .wetlands located on this lot. There is no regulated activity for which a wetlands permit is required. Their proposal calls for the disturbance of about 1 1/4 acres and stabilization within 15 to 30 days with either permanent or temporary vegetative cover. Considering the erosive nature of their soil, this should be included in the conditions . The regulations also require the preservation of the wooded areas insofar as possible, not required for the building construction. To avoid excessive activity on this Lot 5, perhaps construction limits should be shown on the plans and no excavation permitted until they have been established in the field with appropriate fencing. It is mar understanding that there is a need to bring in additional fill to the rear of the existing building. The fill is to be used to accomplish V approved grades and slope shown behind the building The grades are from elevation 58 down to elevation 52 and length of slope is approximately 30 feet. The result would be a 5 - 1 (20%) slope as shown. In addition, the existing downspouts are to be tied into one central discharge. This discharge point should be appropriately protected (i.e. , rip-rap) and shown on the final "as-builts" .
