Moran, Jr. , Chairman Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission FROM: John E. McCahill, Zoning/Wetlands Enforcement Officer RE: Application #88-78W - John Williamson - IWA/CC permit for the installation of an inground pool located on the northerly side of Wildwood Circle, RR zone. DOCUMENTS REVIEWED: Application Form and Site Plan for Lot #1 - Kyle Woods. COMMENTS 1 . A portion of the proposed pool is located in the 40 foot wetlands buffer. 2. Fill is proposed in the buffer zone and may come close to actual wetland limits. A calculation for the total amount of fill should be provided. _ r3. Elevation beyond actual construction should be shown to determine the slope and amount of grading and fill necessary. f 4 . Pool filters often require backwashing. Consideration should be given as to whether water from this process will effect the wetland area. 5. If 306 is a proposed elevation west of the house, the silt fence should be extended to protect abutting wetland. IF APPROVAL IS CONSIDERED, SUGGESTED APPROVAL CONDITIONS: Many trees are cut in the rear of this lot, disposition of stumps should be addressed in the plan. 2. There are 3 or 4 stockpiles already on the site that should be consolidated and stabilized at the location shown on the current plan for house construction. 3 . The proposed silt fence for the stockpile should fully enclose the area. There is no calculation for the amount of excavated material. This would actually determine the A # a M size of the stockpile area. Erosion and sedimentation controls for the stockpile should also be part of the plan. t . 4 . The limit of construction should be shown on the plan. 5• A contact person should be identified directly on the plan should any site problems arise. cc: John Williamson ,f a l i cO TEAT C 3 To: Jahn" M .Moran, Jr. ,; Chairman Inland Wetlands A enc Cons" tion g y/ erva Cgmrnissions, ;li From• Bernard C.
