DOCUMENTS REVIEWED: Application Form and site plan COMMENTS 1 . This plan is for conservation approval. Certified soils scientist, John Ianni, verified that there are no wetlands on the site. 2 . The silt fence as shown is inside of the grading. There should be a reasonable space between the silt fence and the limit of construction. 3 . It is a sandy soil site and it appears that topsoil will be brought to the site. Is the size of the stockpile area adequate for to the amount of topsoil being brought on-site? 4 . There is no sequence nor narrative for the conservation plan. IF APPROVAL IS CONSIDERED, SUGGESTED APPROVAL CONDITIONS: 1 . Limit of construction/grading should be shown on the plans . 2 . A sequence and narrative should be provided. 3 . A bond should be established. 4 . A contact person should be listed. tpWN dr,, 1540 SULLIVAN AVENUE SOIJJH WIINDSORj ON 14 R CON ARfA8"2U3647X5119 Steven Turner Leonard Schwartz 237 Hopmeadow Street Simsbury, CT 06070 RE: Application #88-100P - Bidwell Industrial Commons Gentlemen: At the November 21, 1988 meeting, the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission approved with modifications Application #88-100P - IWA/CC permit for the construction of a industrial building located on the north side of Bidwell cul-de-sac and northwesterly of John Fitch Boulevard, I zone. This should be submitted 30 days prior to the expiration of the permit. In the event that you are requesting an extension, Section 4. 13. 6 of the Zoning Regulations (a copy enclosed) , establishes the criteria for a conservation plan and a method of monitoring its effectiveness. A permit for your proposal was granted, with a bond as assurance of compliance with its sedimentation and erosion control measures. To assist in the review process by the IWA/CC, whether for a permit extension or specific inquiry request, the provisions for verification through progress reports by the developer's/applicant's Engineer demonstrating that each Erosion and Sedimentation control measure has been installed and maintained in accordance with the approved plan, shall be required. This verification report must be submitted 30 days prior to expiration date of the permit to allow time for the Commissioners to evaluate your project controls. If work has been finished or will be finished by the expiration date, please have an engineer send a letter stating work is completed according to the approved plan.
