DOCUMENTS REVIEWED: Application Form and site plan COMMENTS 1 . The silt fence should be placed to act as a limit of construction. Construction rights should be obtained from the Wayner's as it appears that construction will encroach on their property. 2 . The note on the plan reflects that there are no wetlands on the site. That note is incorrect. 4 . A pre-construction meeting must be held with town staff prior to the construction of the sidewalk or the sanitary sewer. IF APPROVAL IS CONSIDERED, SUGGESTED APPROVAL CONDITIONS: 1 . The note on the plan regarding the wetlands should be corrected. 2. A limit of construction should be indicated on the plan. 3. A pre-construction meeting must be held prior to start of any construction. 4 . The following modifications must be adhered to for this permit to be valid: 1 . Black and white transparent mylars of sheets # 1 of 1 with the above modifications and this letter reproduced thereon together with two blueprint copies of the entire set of plans, must be submitted to this Commission to be stamped- and signed. This must be completed within 65 days of review prior to any construction activity on the site. 2. Construction activities shall be subject to the approval of the Town Engineer. 3 . The application shall indemnify and hold harmless the Town of South Windsor against any liability which might result from the proposed operation or use. 4 . We recommend a bond in the amount of $1000 to be submitted to Planning and Zoning Commission to ensure compliance with the erosion and sedimentation control measures. 5 . This should be submitted 30 days prior to , the expiration of the permit. In the event that you are requesting an extension, Section 4 . 13 . 6 of the Zoning Regulations (a copy enclosed) , establishes the criteria for a conservation plan and a method of monitoring its effectiveness . A permit for your proposal was granted, with a bond as assurance of compliance with its sedimentation and erosion control measures. To assist in the review process by the IWA/CC, whether for a permit extension or specific inquiry request, the provisions for. verification through progress reports by the developer's/applicant's Engineer demonstrating that each Erosion and Sedimentation control measure has been installed and maintained in accordance with the approved plan, shall be required.
