reviewed with respect to the standards and criteria for application evaluation. (See
Regulations, Sections VIII - X).

RE: Application #89-53W, Artistic Decks & Remodeling, 360 Main
Street, South Windsor, IWA/CC permit for the construction of a
deck on property located westerly of Margaret Drive, A-20 zone.
DOCUMENTS REVIEWED: Application Form and plot plan
COMMENTS:
1 . This application is for an activity within 40 feet of a
wetland, which is regulated per section 2. 1j of the
regulations .
2 . Approximately one third of the proposed deck is in the
regulated area.
3 . The addition will not require any fill. A small amount of
material will be excavated for footings . This material should
not be deposited in the adjacent wetland area.
4 . Thege is approximately 65 feet of grassed yard between the area
of proposed deck and actual wetlands . This area slopes gently
towards the wetlands but the proposed activity should not have
an impact on the wetlands .

re: Application #89-53W - Construction of a deck on property
located at 227 Margaret Drive
At the July 10, 1989 meeting, the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation
Commission approved with modifications Application #89-53W - IWA/CC
permit for the construction of a deck on property located at 227
Margaret Drive, A-20 zone.
The following modifications must be adhered to for this permit to be
valid:
1 . Construction activities shall be subject to the approval of
the Town Engineer.
2. The application shall indemnify and hold harmless the Town
of South Windsor against any liability which might result
from the proposed operation or use.
3 . The permit is valid for one year and shall expire on July
10, 1990 .
4 . All approvals required must be obtained and submitted prior
to any activity on the site.
5 . A contact person shall be identified. .
6 . Material excavated from the footings shall not be deposited
in the wetlands .

Dear Mr. Grundmann:
Res Application #89-53W - 227 Margaret Drive, South Windsor
This is a reminder that the permit with the Inland Wetlands
Agency/Conservation Commission, Application #89-53W will expire on
July 10, 1990.
If you plan to extend your project beyond the above expiration
date, the Agency requires a letter requesting extension together
with a fee of $25.00. This should be submitted 30 days prior to
the expiration of the permit.
In the event that you are requesting an extension, Section 4 . 13.6
of the Zoning Regulations establishes the process for monitoring
the approved conservation plan. Per that regulation, a progress
report is required from the applicant's engineer verifying that
erosion and sedimentation control measures have been installed and
maintained in accordance with the approved conservation plan. A
copy of the regulation is enclosed.
This verification report must be submitted 30 days prior to
expiration date of the permit to allow time for the Commissioners
to evaluate your project controls.
If work has been finished or will be finished by the expiration
date, please have an engineer send a letter stating work is
completed according to the approved plan.
