McCahill, Zoning/Wetlands Enforcement Officer RE: Application #89-78P, Gelco Space / DOCUMENTS REVIEWED: Application form, site plans for Gelco Space (Third Generation Realty III) dated 7/28/89, and Drainage Computations by Palmberg & Russo COMMENTS: 1.. The areas which are to be paved and graveled are currently used for the storage of tractor trailers. The intent of the plans would appear to be towards the improvement of the site. I think this is appropriate, but there are several areas of concern. The plans appear to be somewhat insensitive in regards to the watercourse. 2. The wetlands were flagaged by Joyce G. Raabe, Certified Soil Scientist. She has signed the plans. A report should be submitted to the Commission to substantiate her investigation and clarify her findings. 3. A good portion of the proposed activity is within 80 feet of the watercourse (Bancroft Brook) . The proposed fill along the northwesterly area, adjacent to the watercourse, is within the "20 foot nondisturbance setback" as stated in section 5.2 of the Regulations . 4. The three parking spaces located to the north (#67-69) are within 40 feet of the watercourse. It is unclear as to whether or not these are to be paved.
