RE: Windshire Abbe Estates
Dear Mr. Kelley:
In an effort to clean up the miscellaneous outstanding . items at
Windshire Abbe Estates and as a .preparation to acceptance of the
streets in this subdivision, I list below those outstanding
items :
1. rWindshire Detention Structure - we are still awaiting as
builts of the detention structure and a report of same
from your engineer relative to the hydraulics. This was
' discussed at a meeting on January 27, 1989 .
2. The pavement on Bramblebrae is still a binder course
only. This has been in place for over 4 years and an
evaluation must be made as to whether or not it is
suitable for use as a Town Road. I would like a
representative from your office to set up a date with
this office so that an inspection of this can be
completed as soon as possible. The finish pavement is
long overdue and should be placed over the binder on. this
construction season.
3 . Sidewalks in front of 67, 99 and 105 Bourbon Street and
all of those on Bramblebrae need to be backfilled in
accordance with design standards with suitable topsoil.
4 . The storm manhole at 99 Bourbon Street needs to be
adjusted to-match the ground elevation.
5 . Rebuild three (3)=Ito-rm_ outlets located as follows:
Phase I, by Lot #1, Phas_y #26, and Phase IV by
CL&P ROW.
6 . The cul-de-sac at Bourbon Street needs to be overlayed to
solve the ponding problem.
r
'Mr. Richard S. Kelley
Page 2 .
June 28, 1989
7 . Open space for Section I still needs to be monumented.
Iron pins are not sufficient.
The above reflects the items that have previously been brought to
your attention. It would seem appropriate that the existing
sections of Windshire Abbe Estates should be completely free of
any checklist items before any work would start on the approved
Section III.
Please advise this office by July 10, 1989 of your plans,
including a schedule, to clear up these outstanding items.
