The on site Sudbury Soils are rapidly permeable and subject to a seasonal high water table. Their proposal is for an above grade installation and water .table should not be a problem except during construction. The plans appear somewhat contradictory. The E & S control notes indi- ca'te,- "expose as small an area of soil as possible for as short a time as possible" could be in jeopardy when it appears everything but the outside 10 ' of the property shall be subject to building, driveway and/or detention basin construction. The remaining area has been addressed by Note 8 on Sheet 2, "all existing trees whose roots are disturbed by con- struction shall be removed unless advised by landscape architect to do otherwise. " The site is covered with a mature tree growth; I would ask for some to be preserved. If an approval is to be considered, the following conditions might apply: 1. Modify the plans to show entrance pad. 2. Show the stockpile. 3. After the October 1 seeding date, organic mulch will be used. 4 .
