Prestileo Application Dear Kevin: In accordance with the reviewing practice, the following are comments as they pertain to this application. This parcel is the one just East of the car wash on Sullivan Avenue. According to the "soils book", the soils on the site are Elmwood Sandy Loam (EmB) , a non-wetlands soil subject to a medium runoff capability. The proposal indicates a couple of dry wells up front to use this characteristic. Apparently, the runoff in the rear shall be contained in a retention basin, a facility without an outlet. Also, the existing building on the site is to be removed. Individual comments would include: 1. The flood plain zone has an elevation associated with it. What is it, and will the berm be above it. 2. It is a small site with earthwork perhaps a later need. It would seem that the building construction could be done with a minimum of earth movement at that time, and when it came time for pavement the rest of it could be done. There would be between two and three feet of fill required in the backyard, as shown. 3. It seems as though most of the parcel shall be covered with impervious soil, could the calculations for this be submitted, together with the ones for the drainage. 4. Before any construction were to start on the site, a fence or berm shall be placed within the property lines to prohibit any encroach- ment. 6. Extend the contours to show what the abutting land looks like. If an approval were to be granted, a $3,000 bond should be sub- mitted prior to any earth work on the site. Very truly yours, A.
