Brown 1017 Foster Street Extension South Windsor, CT 06074 Re: Appl. #2416-98—Robert J. Brown, 1017 Foster Street Extension, RR Zone. Dear Mr. Brown: At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on November 5, 1998, the Board approved your request for three variances: 1) to Section 3.10.3 to allow expansion of a non- conforming structure; 2) a 7' variance to Section 10.2 to allow structure 43' from the front property line (50' required); and 3) a 10' variance to Section 10.2 to allow structure 10' from the side property line (20' required) to construct a garage at property located at 1017 Foster Street Extension, RR Zone. The Board concluded the hardship on the property to be as follows: 1. The front property pre-dates zoning regulations. 2. The placement of the house makes it impossible to place an addition, which would be in conformance to the regulations, anywhere on the property. Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, require a building permit prior to start of construction. These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own expense. Very truly yours, -r.
