Relocation Approval Dear Mr. Castro: This office represents Mr. John Hornat, the owner of Burnham Automotive, Inc. Burnham Automotive is currently located in an Industrial Zone at 516-D Burhnam Street in South Windsor. Enclosed is a copy of an approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals (dated March 4, 1983) authorizing a General Repairer's Operation at that location. While the approval mentioned property located at 517 Burnham Street and 516 Burnham Street, it also described the approved premises as being the same premises as described in a deed recorded in Volume 164 at Page 97 of the South Windsor Land Records and owned by Alexander J. Terlizzi (the "Approved Property") . Mr. Hornat would like to relocate his business to 524 Burnham Street which is also a part of the "Approved Property" noted above. I would appreciate it if you could place this matter on your agenda for October 25, 1994 for the following purposes: (1) To confirm that no new approval is necessary, or (2) If a new approval is necessary to address our request for approval of the relocation of Burnham Automotive to 524 Burnham Street under Section 6. 1. 2.7 of the South Windsor Zoning Regulations. Thank you for your cooperation. Very truly yours, Frank W. Russo FWR:ak cc. Michelle Lipe, Asst. Town Planner 011880 TOWN OF SOUTH WINDSOO PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION titinutes - 6 - October :5 199.1 ITEM: Minutes The minutes of July 26 , 1994 were accepted by consensus of the Commission. ITEM: Correspondence/Reports Correspondence from Berman & Russo, dated October 19 , 1994 requesting a determination of a variance placed on a parcel owned by Burnham Automotive . They want to move to 524 Burnham Street. It involves the business moving from one unit to another. (Exhibit B) After discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission that a variance covers all of the parcel owned by an individual, therefore in this situation the variance covers all of the parcel owned by Burnham Automotive. Correspondence from Rene Veilleux regarding eliminating one garage on some of the houses in Oak Meadow, Appl #93-18P . After discussion it was the consensus of the Commission to put this discussion on the next agenda . It was noted that if the applicant desires to construct a one car garage, there shall be room for off-street parking for two cars at that location. The Commission was also reminded that the annual organizational meeting and bylaw review will be held November 29 , 1994 . Lipe asked for an interpretation from the Planning & Zoning Commission regarding the placement of dumpsters in sideyards , and whether or not that is acceptable . Planning & Zoning require dumpsters to be on a concrete pad and the sideyard of the zone must be maintained . Driveways and fences are allowed in the sideyard only. Akeroyd requested that the Planning & Zoning meeting start at 7 : 30 p .m. instead of 8 : 00 p.m. It was suggested that this item be brought up at the organizational meeting November 29 , 1994 because times of meetings are set in the bylaws . ITEM: Adjournment Levack made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10 : 30 p.m. Akeroyd seconded the motion .
