RE: Application #2635-04— Finn-Daniels Architects, 101 Evergreen Way, Unit#103 in the
Shops at Evergreen Walk, Buckland Gateway Development zone
Dear Mr. O'Keefe:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on January 20, 2005, the Board
approved with conditions your request for a variance to section 17.8.5 to allow a total of 41 square
feet of signage (31 square feet allowed) for the "Christopher and Banks" store located at 101
Evergreen Way, Unit#103 in the Shops at Evergreen Walk, Buckland Gateway Development zone.
The Board concluded the hardship to be as follows:
1. There is no parking in the front of this location whereas most of the Evergreen Walk does
have actual parking in front; and
2. Handicap parking is located in the rear along with basically all of the parking for this location.
The condition placed on this application is that any square footage exceeding the 31 square feet for
the front signage should be applied to the signage in the rear.
Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, requires a building permit prior to start
of construction.
These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own
expense.
Very truly yours,
Stephen Wagner, Chairperson
Zoning Board of Appeals
