SECTION IV—ACTION OF THE BOARD
Approved: Denied:
Revised 12/04/98
The property located on Buckland Road, is currently being used
as a U-Pick blueberry farm and a seasonal produce stand. Each season
the blueberries need to be maintained with a processed wood mulch
product. Since the mulch product needs to be on the property,
we would like to place the mulch in "bins". These bins would be
pleasing to the eye and maintain the appearance of the vegetable stand.
Besides using the mulch for our own use on the blueberries, we would
like to offer the product for sale to the public.

Re: Appl. #2535-02 - Glenn & Randi Reichle, 97 Buckland Road, GD zone
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Reichle:
At the meeting of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals held on April 4, 2002,
your request for a variance to section 4.1.8.L.2 to allow seasonal storage and sales of
mulch products at 97 Buckland Road, GD zone was not approved. The Baord
suggested contacting the Planning 8v Zoning Commission for alternative avenues to
pursue.
Very truly yours,
Robert Warren, Chairman
Zoning Board of Appeals
