The Board stated the reason for denial to be as follows: 1. The sign could be attached to the structure, would be in conformance to the regulations and have the same affect as the sign being requested. 2. The sign can not be seen from the street as it is being proposed. The Board concluded the hardship on the property to be as follows: 1. There is not enough room on the existing signage to add a 3rd business to it. 2. Due to the speed of traffic on the road, a 36 square foot sign would not be large enough to read. Any new building, or alteration/additions to existing buildings, requires a building permit prior to start of construction. These actions are effective upon your filing the enclosed form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own expense.
