Dear Mr. Lee Jr. ,
This is in response to your request of December 14, 1994
regarding operating a small business out of unit 18-4 Arthur
Drive.
Home professional pursuits are allowed at Pleasant Hills
Condominium. However, some restrictions do apply. As per
Article IX, Section 9. 1, Subsection (a) (Enclosed) "No
regular visits from the public or unreasonable levels of
mail, shipping, trash, or storage requirements is allowed.
. Also, no signs can be displayed outside or inside the unit.
If any of these restrictions are not adhered to, the Board of
Directors of Pleasant Hills Condominium reserve the right to
take whatever actions necessary to discontinue home
professional pursuits in any unit.

MINOR HOME OCCUPATION APPROVAL
Pursuant to Section 4.8 of the Town of South Windsor Statutes,covering"Home Occupations",the
following is hereby furnished:
Section 4.8.1 This application is for a MINOR HOME OCCUPATION,as defined in Section 4.8.2,and
will be carried out in a MF zone(Pleasant Hills Condominiums). A letter from the applicable
Home Owner's Association management attesting to compliance is attached.
Section 4.8.4.1 Detailed Statements describing all pertinent aspects of the proposed activity.
Lightning Enterprises is in the business of:
a) Using personal computers(PC's)to compile,typeset,format and design
newsletters,mailers,proposals,reports,etc.,and
b) Locating possible recipients of HUD/FHA refunds in the"Government
Refund Tracer Program",and assisting them in obtaining moneys due
them,for a fee.
NO large parcel delivery(other than normal UPS,FedEX, etc.)will be required;
NO Retail Sales will be made,and NO customers will be visiting the premises;
NO business related commercial vehicles will be required;
ONLY mail delivered by normal route carrier to the postbox assigned to this residential
unit will be required;
NO Signs,internal or external,will be required;
ONLY one(1)room of the seven room unit(approximately 14%)of the total habitable
floor space has been allocated to the conduct of Lightning Enterprises
• business,and,is used for that business over 90%of the time. (Refer to attached
sketch.)
ALL requirements of the Town of South Windsor Statutes,"Home Occupations",
Section 4.8 are hereby met.
