Upon receipt of your request, the Board will review its assessment of your business' impact on our community. If the Board considers impact to be minimal, and if no reasonable, written complaints were received during your trial period, the Board may grant an operating extension for up to twelve months. At the end of each twelve month period, you may request an additional extension, and the Board, at its discretion, may.grant the extension. This request, review, and approval/disapproval process may seem cumbersome, but experience tells us little in the entrepreneurial world remains constant. The business you operate next month will little resemble the business you operate in just a few years. Because Lakewood is first and foremost an association of private residences, the Board is obligated to ensure private ventures do not upset the ambiance we strive to maintain.. That said, the Board is happy to be of service to you, and we wish you much success in your exciting endeavor. Sincerely, • Terry Nichols President, Lakewood Executive Board • 2 of 2 1 1 MAR FRAN (; OISE P.
