Dear Peter:
The inland wetland boundaries on the above-referenced property were field
delineated on August 1, 2001. The wetlands were field delineated in accordance with the
standards of the National Cooperative Soil Survey and the definition of wetlands as found
in the Connecticut General Statutes, Chapter 440, Section 22A-38. I have reviewed the
plans prepared by your office (dated 10-16-01) and have found the representation of the
field delineated wetlands to be substantially correct.
The wetland soils on the property include moderately well and poorly drained
alluvial soils of the Pootatuck and Rippowam Series.

&Zoning Commission, we are required to notify you that an application has been filed
on the property abutting yours and is subject to a hearing(s) by the Inland Wetlands
Agency and Planning &Zoning Commission. The applications and plans are on file with
the South Windsor Planning Department in the Town Hall.
As an abutting property owner you are invited to the hearing(s)to ask questions
and/or give comments, however, you are not required to attend. You may also submit
written comments regarding the application(s)prior to the meeting if you so desire. For
