I have completed the field investigation of the above-
referenced property. During my field study of the. land .a very
small area of regulated wetlands was delineated. The wetland
consists of a man-made depression at the inlet end of the
drainage system that crosses under Buckland Hills Drive. _..During

Application for an inland wetlands permit to fill approximately 100

The Town of Manchester Inland Wetlands Agency hereby notifies the Town Clerk for the Town
of South Windsor by certified mail of the following pending application:
MANCHESTER I-84 ASSOCIATES - 31 Buckland Hills Drive -
Extension of Inland Wetlands Permit (M-2181 - application for an
inland wetlands permit to construct a retaining wall.
The application is on file with this office and may be viewed by the public Monday through
Friday - 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. If you should have any questions or wish to obtain a copy of the

At the May 21, 1997 regular meeting,the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission approved
appl#97-27P, Manchester I-84 Associates-IWA/CC permit to fill approximately 150 sq ft of manmade
wetlands to allow extension of cross-culvert and widening of road on property located on the easterly side of
Buckland Road at the Manchester Town Line, GD zone(Assessor's map #18, parcel 4 & 6) as shown on
plans prepared by Fuss & O'Neill, Inc., Job Number 96-481A1 and dated September 23, 1994. This
approval is subject to the following conditions:
1. One blueprint copy of the entire set of plans and this letter reproduced thereon,must be submitted to this
Commission. This must be completed within 65 days of approval prior to any construction activity on
the site.
2. Construction activities shall be subject to the approval of the Town Engineer.
3. The application shall indemnify and hold harmless the Town of South Windsor against any liability
which might result from the proposed operation or use.
4. The permit is valid for five years and shall expire on May 21, 2001. It has been IWA/CC's policy to
notify landowner(s)/applicant(s) of expiring wetland permits. However, it is the
landowner(s)/applicant(s) responsibility to track expiration dates and notify the Commission of a renewal
request at least 65 days prior to expiration.
5. All approvals required must be obtained and submitted prior to any activity on the site.
6. A contact person shall be identified on the plans.
