IlH[PORTANT: This application must be submitted to the Planning Department by the second
Friday of the preceding month to insure being heard at the next meeting.
ALL ITEMS MUST BE ANSWERED AND ALL SUPPLEMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED. THE APPLICATION WILL BE
RETURNED IF INCOMPLETE,
- The application and supplements must be filed in duplicate.
- The application must be typewritten or printed in ink.
- A Class D or better survey of the property in question must be submitted with the
application showing streets, lot lines, building lines, zone boundary lines, dimensions,
and buildings present or proposed, and buildings on adjacent properties and distance
from subject property.
- If a variance is being requested, a legal description of the property must be submitted
with the application. This description can be obtained from mortgage records.
- The sign from the Planning Department must be displayed on the property at least IO days
prior to the public hearing in a location visible from all abutting streets.
The applicant, or a representative, must be present for the public hearing. The time,
date and place of the hearing will be advised by mail.
Inquiries on this application may be directed to the Planning Department at the South
Windsor Town Hall.

RE: Application #1880-89, in-family apartment
Dear Ms . Doyer:
This is to notify you that your application to the South Windsor
Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a two year temporary and
conditional permit to allow an in-family apartment on property
located at 12 Farnham Road, South Windsor, A-20 zone, has been
granted subject to the following terms and conditions :
1 . Permit is for a two (2 ) year maximum period.
2 . When addition is no longer used as a dwelling, kitchen is
to be removed and area will be converted into other living
space.
In granting this permit the Board noted that this is a in-law
situation and approval does not make this property income producing.
If the in-law situation should change, the home will have to be
restored to a one-family condition.
This action is effective May 11, 1989 . The permit will have to be
renewed in two years if you wish to continue this use.
