Request for renewal of a temporary and conditional permit for a greenhouse and farm stand on Sullivan Avenue. The ZBA first granted a t & c permit in June 1988, and it has been renewed biannually since then. The original ZBA approval included a requirement for site plan approval by PZC; that site plan approval was granted by PZC in July 1988. The current T & C permit will expire in June. 2. In all of the ZBA approval letters, there was a statement that"This permit will expire in two years... and will have to be renewed at that time of this use is to be continued." 3. The wording of the T & C regulation is that, "Temporary and conditional permits may be granted by the Commission for a use which is not specified elsewhere in these regulations for a period not to exceed two years. Such approval may given after Public Hearing if, in the judgment of the Commission, the public convenience and welfare will be substantially or permanently'nand traffic and other hazards will ScRv �G not result from such use." The RR zone allows gree ouses, as-well seasonal - roadside stands for 120 days per year for the display and sale of crops grown on the premises or in South Windsor. The T & C permit was requested so that the roadside stand can operate year-round. 4. If you plan to extend your permit beyond the above expiration date, you must apply for an extension at least sixty-five (65) days prior to the expiration date. There will be a sixty ($65) fee required for an extension of the permit. This includes a ten dollar ($10.00) surcharge assessed by the State, to fund the State Environmental Review Team and a sign.
