- The application and supplements must be filed in duplicate.
- The application must be typewritten or printed in ink.
- A Class D or better survey of the property in question must be submitted with the
application showing streets, lot lines, building lines, zone boundary lines, dimensions,
and buildings present or proposed, and buildings on adjacent properties and distance
from bject property.
- If a • riance is being requested, a legal description of the property must be submitted
with t.:e application. This description can be obtained from mortgage records.
- The sign from the Planning Department must be displayed on the property at least 10 days
prior to the public hearing in a location visible from all abutting streets.
The applicant, or a representative, must be present for the public hearing. The time,
date and place of the hearing will be advised by mail.
Inquiries on this application may be directed to the Planning Department at the South
Windsor Town Hall.

At this time, we wish to establish an antique business to supplement our
retirement income in the near future . Due to the economic recession we are
_unable to afford rental space, therefore, we want this business at our resi-
dence until such time as is economically feasible to move elsewhere .
The area we are planning to use is a finished rec room in our raised ranch
with a ground level rear door entry. To alleviate potential on-street
parking problems we are saillines to extend our driveway for customer use .

Re: Application #2013-91 - two year temporary and conditional
permit for an antique business
At the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals held on December 5,
1991, a two year temporary and conditional permit was approved for
the operation of an antique business on weekends with the following
restrictions : antiques be offered for sale only on Saturdays, 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. ; Sundays 11 a .m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays by appointment
only. Applicant is to provide off-street parking. No advertisement
or parts for sale in front of property. No visual/paper signs
directing people to applicant' s house.
This action is effective December 5, 1991 and will expire December 5,
1993 .

I have no objection to Sam & Rosemary Wolkon
operating an Antique Shop, on weekends, from their
home at 140 Northview Drive, South Windsor, CT.
I understand that the entrance to the shop
will be at the back of the douse and that they are
willing to lengthen the driveway to alleviate any
parking concerns.
