RE: ZBA Application #16 5-90 - 251-253 Sullivan Avenue
Dear Mr . Lavey:
At the meeting of the oning Board of Appeals held on December 6,
1990, a variance was g anted to Section 4 . 7 .4 . 3 of the Zoning
Regulations to allow a second sign (54 s . f . ) on property located at
251-253 Sullivan Ave . (I Zone)
Conditions for placement of sign :
1 . Sign to be placed 20 Feet from the edge of blacktop on Sullivan
Avenue and 50 feet (plus or minus 2 feet) from the present
driveway.
2 . No external or internal lighting of the sign .
The Board noted a hardship to be that the sign is needed because of
the speed of traffic on Sullivan Avenue . It was also noted that the
sign concept meets the Towns general plan to have multiple
occupancy occupy a single sign .
This action is effective upon your filing of the enclosed form in
the Town Clerk's office at your own expense.
Very truly yours,
Robert Warren
Chairman
Zoning Board of Appeals
