IMPORTANT: This application must be submitted to the Planning Department by the second
Friday of the preceding month to insure being heard at the next meeting.
ALL ITEM MUST BE ANSWERED AND ALL SUPPLEMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED. THE APPLICATION WILL BE
RETURNED IF INCOMPLETE.

- A Class D or better survey of the property in question must be submitted with'�the
application showing streets, lot lines, building lines, zone boundary lines, dimensions,
and buildings present or proposed, and buildings on adjacent properties and distance
from bject property.
- If a ° riance is being requested, a legal description of the property must be submitted
with t-ie application. This description can be obtained from mortgage records.
- The sign from the Planning Department must be displayed on the property at least 10 days
prior to the public hearing in a location visible from all abutting streets.
- The applicant, or a representative, must be present for the public hearing. The time,
date and place of the hearing will be advised by mail.
- Inquiries on this application may be directed to the Planning Department at the South
Windsor Town Hall.

THE LOSS OF A LIQUOR LICENSE WOULD PUT THE APPLICANT AT A COMPETATIVE DISADVANTAGE.
AT THE TIME THE BUSINESS WAS ESTABLISHED, THE DAY CARE FACILITY WITHIN 500 FEET DID NOT
EXIST. ALTHOUGH THE CHURCH IS WITHIN 500 FEET OF THE LOT ON WHICH THE APPLICANT'S PREMISES
ARE LOCATED, IT APPEARS THAT WELL OVER 500 FEET SEPARATE THE TWO BUILDINGS. THE OPTION OF
RELOCATING THE APPLICANT'S BUSINESS IS NOT FEASIBLE DUE TO A LACK OF SUITABLE ALTERNATE
SITES IN THE AREA.

Dear Ms . Schmidt :
This is to notify you that your application to the South Windsor
Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a renewal of the two year
temporary & conditional permit for storage and sale of wine and beer
within 500 feet from a day care center and church on property
located at 1750 Ellington Road , in an RC Zone , has been granted .
Any previous conditions still apply .
This action is effective September 6 , 1990. This permit will expire
in two (September 6, 1992 ) and will have to be renewed at that
time.
