The application and supplements must be filed in duplicate.
- The application must be typewritten or printed in ink.
- A Class D or better survey of the property in question must be submitted with the application,
showing streets, lot lines, building lines, zone boundary lines, dimensions, and buildings
present or proposed, and buildings on adjacent properties and distance from subject property.
- If a variance is being requested, a legal description of the property must be submitted with
the application. This description can be obtained from mortgage records.
- The sign purchased from the Planning Department must be displayed on the property at least 10
days prior to the public hearing in a location visible from all abutting streets.
- The applicant, or a representative, must be present for the public hearing. The time, date
and place of the hearing will be advised by mail.
- Inquiries on this application may be directed to the Planning Department or Building Department
at the South Windsor Town Hall.

The Applicant has been an employee and now owner for over ten years of the business
located at 718 Ellington Road. The business has been upgraded and stabilized to
include exterior renovations to improve the area. The Applicant has historically
offered customers an opportunity to sell their automobiles through the business along
with an occasional vehicle the Applicant wishes to sell. The use would be limited
not to exceed two cars for sale at any one time. It is extremely important that the
right be continued so that the station continues to be profitable at this location.
The vehicles would be displayed in a professional and_safe manner.

Dear Mr . Tarascio :
This is to notify you that your application to the South Windsor
Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a transfer of a temporary &
conditional permit of Application #1892 to display two automobiles
for sale on property located at 718 Ellington Road, South Windsor,
in a RC Zone,, has been granted .
This permit is restricted to a limit of two vehicles with a standard
auto marker and excludes vans or trucks . The cars are to be parked
no closer than 12 feet from the corner .
This action is effective April 5 , 1990 . This permit will expire in
November of 1990 and will have to be renewed at that time .
