TIME FRAMES AND PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS/PLANS
1 . All prospective applicants are urged to confer with Town Planning
Department and Engineering Department staff prior to submission of
any application to the Commission.
2 . Plans are officially received only on the fourth Tuesday of each
month at the Regular Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission
(PZC) .
3 . Three ( 3 ) sets of blueprints are required on the second Tuesday of
the month for review by the Town Planning and Engineering
Departments . This deadline must be met if you want to ensure that
your application is officially received by PZC.
These plans must be submitted as complete plans -- which includes
application plus all required information contained on checklist.
It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that all information
required on the checklist is submitted in one package at the time of
submission -- including landscaping plans, architectural elevations,
traffic report, etc.
4 . After review, Town staff will notify the applicant of
requested/required modifications .
5 . If the applicant makes recommended modifications to plans, six sets
of revised plans must be submitted. If a Public Hearing is required
(or optional but likely) then seven sets are required. Revised plans
should be complete packages (applicant may disassemble previously
submitted plans and reuse sheets if so desired) .

PLANNING COMMENTS
1. Impervious coverage must be shown on the plans
2. Additional landscaping should be added on the side of the entrance and around the
parking area
3. The two dumpster on site must be placed on a concrete pad and screened
4. Temporary storage trailer must be removed from the site once the new storage building
is constructed
Once the impervious coverage issue has been addressed and we can determine that it is
within zoning requirements, the other items can be placed as conditions on the approval
letter.
There are no engineering comments on the plans.

Re: Appl #95-14PX, Grigorian Site Plan
Please be advised that the above referenced application for site plan has been approved with
modifications. This approval is based on plans prepared by Aeschliman Land Surveying dated May
5, 1995, revised June 2, 1995 with the following modifications:
1. All plans used in the field by the developer must bear the stamp and authorized signature of the
Town of South Windsor.
2. No building permit will be issued until the final mylars have been filed in the Town Clerk's
Office.
3. An as-built plan is required prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy per Section 8.1.10 of
the Zoning Regulations.
4. All plans used in the field by the developer must bear the stamp and authorized signature of the
Town of South Windsor.
5. The compactor on the site must be placed on a concrete pad and screened.
6. Temporary storage container on the southerly side of the site must be removed once the new
storage building is constructed.
Black and white transparent mylar of Sheet #1 with the above modifications, together with three
blueprint copies of the entire set of plans must be submitted to be stamped and signed. The letter of
approval must be reproduced on the mylar.
