As I think you are aware the subject property has been purchased and the site cleared for construction. Past and current economic conditions, however, have caused the project to move at a much slower pace than originally anticipated. Construction is not planned within the next year, but it is hoped that conditions will be such that the project can proceed shortly thereafter. I enclose an application as requested. Please advise me if you need any additional information. I understand that you wil let me know the date of the Commission' s deliberations on this matter so that I may plan to be in attendance to answer any questions. Thank you for your continued assistance in this matter. er ruly ou , Philip J. C na PJC/sb cc: Susan Bratton WAWA SITE PLAN EXTENSION - 12/13/94 1 . Request for extension of site plan approval for WaWa Markets , Inc . , on the corner of Pleasant Valley Road and Route 5, GC zone . Approval was granted on July 24, 1990, and is valid for 5 years if site work has not begun. CGS Section 8-3 ( i ) has an extension provision for site plans approved after October 1, 1989 , that allows the Commission to grant one or more extensions of the 5-year period, provided the total extension time does not exceed an additional ten years . 2 . The approved site plan is for a 3250 square feet WaWa store on a one-acre lot, with 24 parking spaces . A variance was granted to allow the required buffer to be contained in the rear yard setback; and to allow a second sign on the premises . 3 . All zoning requirements were met with the approved plan. IWA/CC approval has been maintained and is current . ConnDOT approved the driveway locations . There were no outstanding staff-requested modifications or PZC approval conditions . Bonds are in place for IWA/CC and PZC landscaping. /home/banach/DEPTREVIEWS/WaWa a 10ON SE, o , y 1540 SULLIVAN AVENUE .
