Dear Manchester Food Services:
This is to notify you that the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals voted to
grant your request for a variance to Section 4.5.4.4 of the South Windsor Zoning
Regulations to allow two wall signs in addition to a free-standing sign of 45
square feet at property located at the West Side of John Fitch Blvd. (Route 5)
and opposite Ellington Road (route 30) , South Windsor.
In granting this variance the Board cited the need for the frr-standing sign because
of the high volume and speed of the traffic on Route 5. The Board also noted that
the sign is not to exceed the maximum height of the existing building and that the
sign are to be lit internally and to be turned off when the building is closed.
This action will take effect July 31, 1987 and upon your filing of the enclosed
form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own expense.
Very truly yours,
T omas Murrin, Chairman
Zoning Board of Appeals
