Permitted uses in an industrial zone allow showrooms and for the storage and maintenance of
heavy construction equipment (See 4.7.2.4) . To extend the use to allow in an industrial
zone retail rental and service of construction equipment would not adversely impact or
violate performance standards of an industrial zone Based on the location of this property,
and existing regulations which allow for showrooms, storage and maintenance of construction
equipment, it would be a hardship if this variance is not granted to also allow sales,
rental and service of construction equipment.
