Banach, Director of Planning' RE: Pulford Variance Request DATE: May 24 , 1988 The above-referenced application requires Zoning Board of Appeals action, plus resubdivision through the Planning and Zoning Commission, because the subdivision map on file with the Town Clerk never received subdivision approval from PZC. The map was simply recorded in the Town Clerk' s office during the 1950' s; subdivision regulations have been in effect since 1949 . Thus ing sion there is no legally the fact that lots shownithereonn s property in spite of have been sold and resold. This application, plus a subsequent one to PZC, is an attempt to get Mrs . Pulford' s property cleared as a legally existing subdivision. I anticipate that at some time in the future, the other existing properties may have to undergo a similar process, if during land transactions the title searcher notices that the map that is on file is not approved by PZC. (The lack of PZC approval on the filed map was discovered by the Planning Dept. during a routine request for site information. ) Richard H. Eriksson, Chairman + of the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals , hereby certify that on June 2, 1988 the Zoning Board of Appeals granted to Viola M.
