The, current building space is insufficient for our operations , we need to dou'.)le
our general office and design areas which would completely fill the existing
structure_ The proposed addition would then house our necessary stock, storage,
receiving and shop areas. If the addition is not approved we will have to find
a larger building in which to operate. r,ioving would damage our !-,usiness growth
(change of address , phone, etc. ) add moving expenses , also we have been at this
location for several years , customers know where to find us. It is very
'ifficult to find a suitable building with the proper size, exposure , cost,
access and regain in the So. lindsor area, which we would prefer to coo as we
also reside in So. °lindsor. The building owner is willing to build the add-

Section 4.5.2.11.

Dear Mr. Kallenbach:
This is to notify you that the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals voted
to grant your request for variances to Section 4.5.2.11, 3.10.9 and 5.2 of
the Zoning Regulations to allow the building of an addition to the north side
of the existing building located at 785 John Fitch Boulevard, South Windsor,
(GC Zone). This approval is subject to app^oval of a site plan of development
by the South Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission.
In granting the approval to Section 4.5.2.11 the Board noted that this is an
existing industrial use in a General Commercial Zone. In granting the approval
to Section 3.10.9 the Board noted that the property is presently almost 100
percent paved with an impervious surface. No new paved areas will be added
because of the addition. In granting the approval to Section 5.2 the Board
noted that the existing building is non-conforming. The addition does not
further encroach on the side, front or rear set back lines. It was also
noted that this is a corner lot.
This approval is effective October 17, 1986 and upon your filing of the enclosed
form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own expsense.
Very) truly yours,
Richard H. Eriksson, Acting-Chairman
Zoning Board of Appeals
