Kindercare is a child care facility.
What we propose as signage is as follows:
One pole sign 27" x 85" overall height 513"
One wall sign 4' x 9'
These signs are needed for both identification and advertisement.
Both signs maintain the Kindercare corporate identity and logo and are very modern, neat and professional
sign layouts.
The pole sign is needed to advertise and identity the school and is a very modest height (513" to top)
The wall sign is necessary for advertising and identification. It is also very modest in sire and will be
placed against wall as shown.
Both these signs keep with Kindercare corporate program of sign design, wording and number of signs. These
are needed due to the fact that a local outlet needs identifying signs which connect it with the national
corporation for both customer confidence in quality and advertising.
We feel the signage requested is both needed and not excessive.

Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals will be heard at a public hearing on
Mav 5 , 1988 at 7 : 30 n.m. in the Council Chambers of the South Windsor

At the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals held on May 5 , 1988 ,
a variance was granted to section 4. 1. 5 of the Zoning Regulations
to allow one 3 X 9 sign to be affixed to the building of the
Xindercare Learning .Center, located at the corner of Chapel and
Ellington Road, South Windsor. The sign is not to be uliminated
but can be lite by a spotlight. The lighting must be turned off
one hour after the close of business.
The board denied the second sign, which location would have been
at the corner of the property, because they didn' t feel it was
necessary in a residential zone. It was also noted that the sign
on the building could be -seen from both roads.
This action is effective Mav 20 , 1988 and upon your filing of the
enclosed form in the Town Clerk' s office at your own expense.
