Dear Mr. McAllister:
Your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals will be heard at
a public hearing on Thursday, May 9, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers
of the South Windsor Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor. Someone
must be present at the hearing to represent the application.
Included in the $35 application fee is the cost of a sign to advertise that a
public hearing will be held regarding this property. This sign can be picked
up at the Planning Department at the South Windsor Town Hall, and must be
displayed on the property at. least 10 days prior to the public hearing in a
location visible from all public streets.
Also, due to the fact that Mr. Cohen, the owner, did not sign the application,
a signed statement must be submitted from him that he has no objections to
this application being made: In addition, a legal description of the property,
which can be obtained from the mortgage records, must be submitted the night
of the hearing. If the variance is granted, it will not become effective
unless this legal description is submitted.
Enclosed is receipt #1610 for your records.

Dear Attorney Ahearn:
This is to notify you that the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals
voted to grant the application of James C. McAllister, Jr., d/b/a
Jamar Auto Repair, for approval under section 3.13.1 of the Zoning
Regulations to allow a General Repairer's Operation and a State Hearing
under Section 14-54 of the General Statutes for a General Repairer's Operation
at property located at 856 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor (GC Zone) .
- This approval is subject to site plan approval from the Town of South
Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission.
- Any overnight parking of cars shall be kept behind the building.
In granting this approval the Board noted that there has been a General
Repairer's Operation at this location in the past.
This action is effective May 24, 1985. s
