The sign purchased from the Planning Department must be displayed on the
property at least 10 days prior to the Public Hearing in a location
visible from all public streets.
A Class D or better survey of the property in question must be submitted
with the application showing streets, lot lines, building lines, zone
boundary lines, dimensions and buildings present and proposed, and
buildings. on adjacent properties and distance from subject property.
If a variance is being requested, a legal description of the property
must be submitted with the application. (Obtained from mortgage records) .
The applicant, or his representative , must be present for the Public
Hearing, the time , date and place to be advised by mail.
Inquiries on this application may be directed to the Planning Department
or Building Department at the Town Hall.

Dear Mr. Tartsinis:
Your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals will be heard
at a public hearing on Thursday, November 7, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of the South Windsor Town Hall, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor.
Someone must be present at the hearing to represent the application.
Included in the $35. application fee is the cost of a sign to advertise that a
public hearing will be held regarding this property. This siqn can be picked

Dear Mr. Tartsinis:
This letter is to notify you that the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals
voted to grant a variance to Section 4.4.3 of the Zoning Regulations to allow
a 48 square foot advertising sign at property located on the south side of
Sullivan Avenue, east of and abutting Ann Fields Plaza, South Windsor (GC Zone) .
This sign shall be illuminated from within, and shall be lit no later than
11:00 P.M.
In granting this approval the Board noted that this sign is the same size as
the advertising sign in the abutting shopping plaza. It was also noted that
the Board intends this sign to be 48 square feet over-all, and this does not include
any additional "strip" signs.
This action is effective November 22, 1985 and upon your filing the enclosed
form in the Town Clerk's Office at your own expense.
