The Board voted to grant this variance due to the fact that the existing one-car garage, with a chimney protruding into it, makes it difficult to utilize for its original intent. In addition, a two-car' garage is in keeping with the character of the neighborhood, and it will still be a distance of 36-feet to the nearest house.
