Enclosed is an application for the Yamazaki Machinery Company. The sign as we are proposing it will be very low profile, using a dark brown background with white lettering. The purpose for this sign is to call attention to the fact that the en- trance to the building is on the corner of Route 5 and Bidwell Road. Under the present regulations, I understand that if a facade sign is used, a ground sign cannot be used. We are using less than 100 square feet of signage on the facade, although, the allowable square footage is approximately 300 square feet. The ground sign is also needed as the building is set back quite a distance. I will go into more detail when we make our formal presentation to the Board of Appeals. Thank you for your c eration.
