Wholley 1906 Main St. South Windsor, Ct. 06074 Dear Mr.Wholley: Re: Application No. 1349-79 Your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a variance of Article 5.2, Section 5, to allow construction � closer to the rear line than permitted on premises known as 1906 Main Street, in an A-40 zone, has been granted. The Board voted unanimously to approve the variance to allow a 17' x 20' addition to the rear of the house, which will come within 5' of John Fitch Boulevard access line as shown on the plot plan submitted with the application and dated May, 1973, prepared by Melvin C. Stead, Sr. The Board voted to grant the variance since the house was built in 1762 and predates zoning, and the proposed addition has been approved by the Historical District Commission, and because the lot is located between John Fitch Boulevard and Main Street and is prohibitive.
