Schubert: Res Application No. 1342-79 Your application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of Appeals requesting a variance to allow a single family dwelling without a garage on premises known as 17 Carman Road, in an A-20 zone, has been granted. The Board noted that the layout of the interior and the situation of the house on the lot make it impractical to enlarge the kitchen and retain the required garage, and felt it is in keeping with the character of the neighborhood. It was noted that the existing garage which will be eliminated is impracticably small and not usable and could not be expanded without a variance.
