The above application to the South Windsor Zoning Board of
Appeals requesting a variance of Article 4.1, Section 4, to
allow a truck to be parked on premises known as 125 Troy Road,
in an RR zone, has been denied.
The Board unanimously voted to deny the application for the
following reasons :
1. No sufficient hardship was shown to warrant granting
the variance;
2. There was significant objection by the neighbors;
3. In granting the previous one year permit to park the
truck, the Board was quite specific in its intent that the permit
was granted in order to give Mr. .Cyr sufficient time to find
another place to park the vehicle;
4. The public convenience and welfare will not be served
by granting this variance and it is inconsistent with the zoning
regulations; and
5. There are other locations in the immediate area that are
suitable for parking this truck.

Jan, 15, 1979 Woke my y at 1 family ;50 AM, when he returned to his home
and park his truck on south east side of his premises,
with lights on work on truck for 10 minutes.

Again at 6;12 AM woke up my family when he started his
truck had engine idling till 6;17 AM then left.
At 6;25 AM was hitching his truck to trailer at Culbro
property by Railroad track south side of Troy Road,
when Mr Cyr saw Mr & Mrs. Laurier go by he quickly
put all his lights off, so he would not be noticed.'
Woke my mother-in-law again at 9;40 AM when arrived
back home, and started working on engine, making thick

Left again at 1.4.;00 PM and came back hone at I4.;45 PM.
Tuesday
Jan. 16. 1979 Work on truck from 7;00 AM till 10;00 AM, when left
to pick trailer at Culbro property.
Friday
Jan, 19, 1979 Woke my mother-in-law at 8;45 AM, when he arrived back
home, and park his truck on south east side, half on
Mr. McFarland property.
Started truck again at 2;00 PM and left.
Returned at 6. 0 PM and park ' s

This noise continued till 10;50 AM, General Tire
service truck left at 12;30 PM.

tools, power grease gun, etc.
Started truck at 10;40 AM, thick black smoke poluting
our home, today being a humid and hazy day, Turned
engine off at 10;45 AM, but still using noisy grease
gun, Then tilted cab up and work on till 11 ;38 D%

to pick up trailer at Culbro property.

June 21 , 1979 Mr Cyr went by at 2;23 PM, he park his trailer on
Culbro property, and returned home at 3; 35- Pm and
park his truck on south east side of his premises.
Friday
June 22, 1979 Work on truck for about one (1 ) hour.
Saturday
June 23, 1979 At 9; 30 AM took out most of his tools from his truck
and put them in back of his pick up truck, and left.
He must be working on his other trucks someplace else.
Ret. at 2; 30 PM, left again after a few minutes, and
returned at 2;40 PM.
