As you know, this sign will direct traffic from Rt. 5 to six different businesses that are located on Mascolo Road. In the course of our Commission's Visitation Program, we have contacted a number of businesses in this area and a standard complaint; if you will, was that frequently visitors by-passed Mascolo Road and ended up several miles north or south of where they should have. turned. We think approval of this sign request would help alleviate the problem of locating these businesses and demonstrate to some very fine businessmen that South Windsor is responsive and takes an interest in their needs.
