RE: ZBA Application #2062-92: David A. Patr i a
211 Sullivan Avenue
Dear Mr . Patr i a:
At the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals held on July 2,
1992, a variance was approved to Section 6. 1 . 2 of the Zoning
Regulations to allow retail sales of golf equipment and supplies
at the golf driving range on property located at 211 Sullivan
Avenue ( I Zone) .
The hardship of appeal is the variance request is an extension of
Present business being. conducted which has been located in South
Windsor for the past 37 years and that a business of said nature
cannot be easily relocated-
Please note the following conditions placed on the variance
granted: operation must remain consistent with current use of
property; the 1 ,000 square feet proposed for retail space must be
utilized only for golf related equipment and only after site plan
approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission.
This action is effective July 2. 1992 and upon your filing of the
enclosed form in the Town Clerk 's office at your own expense.
Very truly yours,
Robert W. Warren, Chairman
